VC are an all-girl gang/group like no other. They are a motorcycle collective, with a garage located in East London and they want to encourage more and more female riders to join them on the roads. VC girls are following American trends, where female riders are more common, so they organise their own version of ‘Babes Ride Out’ - the next one is in August. What’s coming shortly after ‘Babes Ride Out’ is also a VCC clothing line.

Two of the founders: Gemma Harrison and Namin Cho, who have a background in luxury fashion design as they had previously worked with brands such as Ferretti and McQueen, will now pass their knowledge to the VCC collective. VCC apparel will be a good mix of street wear mixed with their love for motorbikes. And judging by the trends from the past few seasons, this mix sounds like a total hit.

What did you want to be growing up?
A fashion designer but now when I grow up I want to be a motocross racer ☺.

Do you make money with your profession, or you have to do something else to support yourself and do all that you do and what we know you about on ‘the side’?
I’ve been working as a luxury women's wear designer for over 11 years. This supports my motorcycle addiction & I work on the VC a few days a week too but am slowly making the transition into designing women's motorcycle gear under mine and my partner’s label VCC & working on VC London full time.

What is your best and worst attribute?

Yes! Trainspotting is my favourite movie of all time.

Before making a phone call, do you ever rehearse what you're going to say? Why?
