With clients like Raf Simons, Jil Sander, Alexander McQueen, Tim Coppens, AF Vandevorst, Acne Jeans and Adidas Y-3; being a professor at KASK, Ghent (Fashion and Textile department); and hosting multiple workshops at academies across Europe, it is safe to say Tom Tosseyn knows what he is doing and that he does it well! Tom started as a student of industrial design but two years in switched to the Graphic Design Department at the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1998.

Four years after his graduation Tom expanded to fashion, joining Diesel’s (55DSL) creative team, later on moved to Hugo Boss, Germany, and in 2008 decided to return to Antwerp and work as a freelance designer and consultant for several hi-end brands. His CV also contains a line of limited edition luxury silk foulards, followed by his T-shirt series and his famous weekender bag.

Since 2010, he has also participated in collaboration shows with Belgian and international artists at Z33 in Hasselt, Annette De Keyser gallery and MX7 gallery in Antwerp. Some of Tom’s most recent work was made for McQ spring summer collection, as he reimagined the design of ‘The Birds’ S/S 95 collection by Alexander McQueen.
