'Tristan' is about searching for the missing part of ourselves.
The part where we persistently quest ourselves in physical forms of other people. Inspired by an old legend, the collection shows a contemporary take on Tristan, who found his gentle and feminine parts in his inner Iseult. Strong waffle textures bring back the warmth of his mother's kitchen, and shiny surfaces together with feminine colors he was once forbidden to wear because of the western patriarchal society, now confidently show his vulnerability.
The collection is enriched with prints (contribution by Dino Kužnik), which represent a modern take on seven deadly sins, Christianity and play with an idea of our corrupted 'today.' Saint's silhouettes was a big inspiration in the making of 'Tristan,' and embellishments used resemble the ones we see on the Church's altar.
"Tristan" showroom will be this Thursday, May 4th, at Štefanova 3 (4th floor), Ljubljana.
