Tada strikes again, this time with Spaghetti.
Spaghetti Boys is a new show created by our dear friend Tadej Vaukman.
When we asked if he would be kind enough and explain a bit to M what his new show is all about, dude gave us: “SPAGHETTI BOYS is a story about boys. It’s a story showing us what these certain boys are doing while they are not eating spaghetti.”
Curious to know more, I probed for more details: "Actually, I really wanted to see how my fingernails would look on camera. Also, I've always been into boys swinging big swords in the woods, you know.”
Basically, he said something but said nothing, if you know what I mean.
But knowing him I kind of have a feeling of what we are in for.
Tada always tends to show explicit but still natural stuff. He goes hand in hand with filth and amusement at the same time. He is not afraid to show all that ‘uncool’ crap we all do but no one wants to talk about or sometimes even admit to doing it. I mean, I wonder how many of you have picked your noses in your cars, in front of the computer… Maybe you are doing that just now, who knows! Anyways, I strongly recommend you give this show a go. It’s gonna be a video projection + photo exhibition + zine release kind of show.
Spaghetti Boys will take place at Gallery P74 and will be open from Jan 6 to Jan 28. At 18:30 on the day of the opening, Mojca Grmek, with a little help from Tadej, is doing a guided tour of the show. Mingling and fun from 19:00 onwards.
Go and see. Support!
