Three Blind Mice are a Swamp rock band based in Milan in Italy. Their music is mostly influenced by dark blues, surf and spaghetti western in which a strong post-punk background is noticed. There is no doubt that Three Blind Mice are creatively connected to Berlin, as the frontman and songwriter Manuelle Scalia say “The songs contained in this album were written between Milano and Berlin. In a time when, for many reasons, not always connected with my music activity, I was traveling to Berlin almost every month. Spending a lot of time on my own. The result is a bunch of dark ballads, electric swamp blues with a taste of alternative country and spaghetti western.”
Their latest album »The chosen one« was produced by SWANS member Kristof Hahn and recorded in Berlin by Tom Schwoll (ex Jingo de Lunch). Mixed by Max Lotti and mastered by Giovanni Versari.
Special appearances on the album include Kristof Hahn (lap-steel and guitar), Madeline Black (female voice on "Gospel Train), Mike Strauss: (Organ and piano), Luna Schwoll (Cello on "Sailor Song").
